Water damage doesn’t read a job description. It doesn’t care whose shift it is or whether the problem started behind a wall or under a slab. That’s why the crew at Marsh Water Damage Santa Clarita is built the way it is: people who have pulled wet carpet at 2 a.m., argued with an adjuster at 8 a.m., and still shown up at the next house on time. We’re a local team working under the Threshold Standard, which means every person who walks through your door has been background-checked, identity-verified, and sent to you by name and photo before the visit. No surprises, no strangers.
Our People
Marcus D. – Lead Technician, Water Damage Restoration
Marcus has been pulling water out of Santa Clarita homes since 2011, which means he’s seen what the Santa Ana winds do to flashing and what a failed water heater does to a garage subfloor. He holds IICRC certification in Water Damage Restoration (WRT) and Applied Structural Drying (ASD), and he runs the Dri-Eaz and Phoenix equipment that handles the heavy extraction work. Marcus is the guy who walks a loss site and tells you, in plain language, which walls are worth saving and which ones already belong in a dumpster. He grew up in Canyon Country and still thinks the best breakfast in the valley is at a spot on Soledad Canyon Road he refuses to name because he doesn’t want it getting crowded.
Elena R. – Senior Remediation Specialist, Mold & Storm
Elena came to us from commercial restoration work in the San Fernando Valley, where she spent a decade handling tenant spaces and retail losses that had to be dry by Monday morning. She’s RIA-certified and handles most of our mold remediation scopes, including the containment setups and air scrubbers that keep spores from drifting into clean rooms. Elena runs the Injectidry system on the jobs where drying has to happen inside a wall cavity without tearing the whole thing open. She’s also the one who writes the photo documentation for insurance files, which adjusters tend to appreciate. On weekends she hikes Towsley Canyon and, by her own account, has never once slid down the switchbacks. Her shoes disagree.
David K. – Service Coordinator, First Call & Scheduling
David is the voice you’ll likely hear first when you call (661) 347-1348. He’s been with Marshall’s Santa Clarita location since 2016 and handles dispatch, insurance intake, and the paperwork that keeps every job moving from mitigation to final invoice. David is IICRC-certified as a Water Restoration Technician, which means he doesn’t just schedule work – he understands what the crew is walking into and can tell you whether that leak sounds like a Category 1 clean-water issue or something worse. He’s the reason a live person answers the phone at 3 a.m., because he keeps the dispatch line on his desk and actually answers it. David lived through the 2019 Tick Fire near his home in Stevenson Ranch and has been mildly obsessed with defensible space ever since.
Jordan T. – Apprentice Technician, Water & Mold
Jordan joined our crew in 2024 after finishing his restoration training and immediately got handed a mop and a moisture meter and told to learn the difference between “damp” and “dry enough to rebuild.” He’s working toward his IICRC WRT certification under Marcus and Elena, and he’s already the one who triple-checks the psychrometric readings (measuring the moisture in the air) before we pull drying equipment off a job. Jordan grew up in Valencia and played baseball at Saugus High, where he learned that showing up early means you get to take batting practice, not just watch it. He brings that same energy to every flooded laundry room we send him to.
Restoration work we handle

One Standard, Every Job
Every technician who works for Marsh Water Damage Santa Clarita operates under the Threshold Standard, and it has five parts that never change. First, every tech is background-checked and identity-verified before they’re ever dispatched. Second, we send you the technician’s name and photo before the visit, and they show a photo ID badge at the door, every time – not just on the first job. Third, every job gets a written price before any work begins, so there’s no number that balloons after demo starts. Fourth, every repair carries the 365-Day Done Right Promise: if the work isn’t right within a full year, we make it right, and a free second visit is included automatically. Fifth, we use professional equipment from Dri-Eaz, Phoenix, XPOWER, B-Air, and Injectidry – the same gear you’d see on a commercial loss – because the only difference between a commercial job and a residential one is the size of the affected square footage, not the standard of care. Our people are credentialed through IICRC, RIA, and IFA, and they answer to Tobias Reyner, the owner, who has been running restoration crews since 2005 as part of the Threshold Group family.

A marsh is low, wet ground – water sitting where it shouldn’t be, doing damage to whatever’s standing in it. That’s our job, every single day. The name isn’t an accident. When you call about water damage, mold, or a storm that pushed water into your Santa Clarita home, you’re calling a company whose name literally describes the problem. We don’t find that ironic. We find it honest.
Call Us and Meet the Crew
When you have water where it doesn’t belong, call (661) 347-1348. A live person answers, day or night, and the technician we send will be someone whose name you already know. Written price before work starts. Written guarantee on every repair. Crew you can trust inside the house.
